Goal:
This is an E-Commerce project based on XML, Java Servlets/JSP and JDBC focussing on supply chain management. It delivers an infrastructure on which different vendors interface via XML and manage a relational database with their product. This also delivers the concept of recursive ordering to fetch parts for an ordered product from downstream vendor in case the product is not locally available.

This challenge was taken on in Q1 2003, when a group of NCState students cum professionals teamed together to work on a university project, and convert it to something they could contribute to the open source community.

Though it is a working model as it stands, hopefully this project sets off wheels for ongoing development.
